Heat The Stove:

For an electric range, set the burner to medium high.

For a gas range, set the burner to medium.

For flat-top ranges, set the burner to medium low.

Note: Because stove top heat output varies, adjust the temperature as needed so

popping is completed about three minutes after the popcorn is added to the pan.

Flat-top ranges cook hotter than standard ranges, pay close attention to the popping.

Like most pans, the Stove-Top popper will rock when used on a flat-top range.

Popping Popcorn:
Tip:
Use fresh popcorn. Old popcorn loses its moisture and won’t pop well.
1. Place 1-3 tablespoons of oil and ½ cup popcorn in the popper and place on the

stove top. Note: Don’t use butter, margarine, shortening or lard in place of oil,

as these will burn or smoke excessively.

2. Slowly and continuously, turn the handle.
3. The popping cycle will be complete in approximately three minutes. When you

no longer hear vigorous popping and stirring becomes difficult, remove from

heat. Carefully empty the popcorn into a serving bowl from the left side lid. Use

a hot pad if you find it necessary to open the lid when emptying.
