edit the type of a directory entry
If you only want to edit the type of a directory entry:
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review the directory or
3-character alphabetical search on page 54).
When the desired entry appears, enter the corresponding shortcut keys
shown in the below table.
Type: Press:
Home 1
Cell 2
Work 3
Other 4
Delete a directory entry
Once a directory entry is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
To delete an entry:
Search for the desired entry in the directory (see Review the directory or
3-character alphabetical search on page 54).
When the desired entry appears, press the
MuTe
/ReMoVe. The screen
displays Delete contact? Press SELECT to confirm.
Press
MeNu
/SeleCT. The screen displays Contact deleted and then the
next alphabetical entry in the directory.
Remove a downloaded directory
(downloaded directories only)
Search for a desired downloaded directory in the directory menu (see
Review the directory on page 54).
When the desired downloaded directory is chosen, press
or to
highlight Remove dir and then press
MeNu
/SeleCT.
The screen displays Directory Cell Phone A will be erased. Press
SELECT to confirm. Press
MeNu
/SeleCT and the screen displays
Directory removed.
