Set remote access code
A two-digit security code is required to access the answering system remotely
from any touch tone telephone. The preset code is 19. You can set the code
from 10 to 99.
To set the remote access code:
Press SETUP when the telephone is not in use until the system announces
the remote access code setting.
Press / SKIP or / REPEAT to change the remote access code by one, or
press and hold / SKIP or / REPEAT to change it by increments of ten. Press Press
SETUP to save the setting and go to the next setting, or press /PLAY/STOP
to save and exit setup mode.
Set message alert tone
This feature programs the system to beep every 10 seconds to alert you of new
messages. The tone will stop when all new messages have been reviewed.
To set the message alert tone:
Press SETUP when in idle mode until the system announces the message
alert tone setting.
Press
/SKIP or /REPEAT to select on or off, then press SETUP to save
the setting and go to the next setting, or press /PLAY/STOP to save and
exit setup mode.
