OFF?
Clear voice mail
If you subscrbe to voce mal servce provded by your local telephone company,
NEW VOICE MAIL and wll appear on the handset, and the VOICEMAIL
light on the telephone base will flash when you have new voice mail messages.
Please contact your local telephone company for more nformaton about voce
mal servce.
After you have lstened to all new voce mal messages, the ndcators on both
the handset and telephone base wll be turned off automatcally.
To manually turn off these ndcators:
Press MENU/SELECT to dsplay the menu when the
handset s not n use.
Press
or to select >CLR VOICE MAIL, then press
MENU/SELECT.

TURN INDICATOR OFF?
Press MENU/SELECT to confirm your selection. You will
hear a confirmation tone.
Clearng the VMWI (vsual message watng ndcaton) only turns off the ndcators;
t does not delete voce mal message(s). Use ths feature f the telephone ndcates
there s voce mal when you have none, or f you have accessed your voce mal
from a dfferent telephone lne (whle away from home). If there actually are new
voce mal messages, your local telephone company wll contnue to send the
sgnals whch wll turn the ndcators back on.
