Exclusive Aerodynamic Arch
During the cooking process, contaminated heated air rises at
various rates of speed up into the hood reservoir. A traditional
exhaust hood allows up to 60% of the heated air to hit the
perpendicular surface at the top of the hood creating an
enormous amount of turbulence within the reservoir. Our
exclusive arch top dramatically reduces the turbulence created
by the heated updraft from the cooking process.
The arch dramatically reduces the amount of turbulence by
directing contaminated heated air into the front location exhaust
plenum. In contrast to traditional exhaust hoods, testing indicates
that about 70% of the heated air is immediately exhausted out of
the reservoir area. The remaining air is directed back by the arch
towards the rear of the hood with little or no turbulence until it
can be exhausted.
EcoArch Ventilation System
Contaminated air is directed to the exhaust slot
through the arch top, minimizing turbulence
Traditional Ventilation System
Contaminated air is trapped within the hood and
creates turbulence until it can be exhausted.
