HINTS
•
Use a carving board to avoid damage to blades and countertops. As
with any sharp knife, the blades will scratch most surfaces.
•
When the meat contains a bone, cut down to the bone, but do not
attempt to cut through it.
•
When slicing, gently guide the knife through the food. Excessive sawing
or pressure is unnecessary.
•
Do not use knife to cut frozen food packages or any other hard foods.
CARE AND CLEANING
CAUTION: ALWAYS UNPLUG UNIT BEFORE CLEANING. NEVER IMMERSE
UNIT IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUIDS.
Clean knife exterior by wiping with a soft damp cloth. The knife blades
should be separated before washing. Slide the knob down to the keyhole
and lift apart. Wash stainless steel blades in hot soapy water. Rinse well and
dry thoroughly. Replace the protective sleeve. For storage, wrap cord
(see Figure 2).
Any servicing requiring disassembly other than the above cleaning must
be performed by an authorized service center.
