File Navigator
The File Navigator is a fast and convenient way of moving between tracks, files and folders.
2. Press and hold the
button in the MUSIC, RECORD, VIDEO, PHOTO, or E-book mode to open the File
Navigator.
3. A list of available files for the current mode will be shown. (i.e. in E-Book mode only .TXT files will be shown)
4. Use the
and
buttons to move up and down the list of files.
5. Highlight the file you want to play and press
.
6. To enter a folder or subfolder, highlight it and press either
or
.
7. To exit a folder, press
or
.
8. To close the File Navigator, press and hold the
button.
Deleting Files
1. In the MUSIC, RECORD, VIDEO, PHOTO, or E-book mode, press and hold
to enter the File Navigator.
2. Navigate to the file you want to delete with the
/
and
/
buttons.
3. With the file highlighted, press the
button. A “Delete? Yes / No” message will appear.
4. Use the
button to highlight “Yes” and press
to permanently delete the file.
Voice Recording
1. Press and hold the
button for 2 seconds in any mode (except Radio) to activate the MP850’s built-in
microphone and begin voice recording.
2. Press
to pause the recording, and press
again to resume.
3. Press and hold
for 2 seconds again to finish the recording.
4. Recordings can be found in the RECORD mode.
