Maintaining the Trackball
To improve the performance of your trackball, keep it free of
dust and dirt by following the cleaning procedures
described below.
1 Rotate the trackball retainer counter-clockwise until it's
loose.
2 Remove the retainer and the trackball.
3 Clean the trackball using a lint-free cloth and a non-
alcohol solution.
4 Replace the trackball and the retainer. Turn the retainer
clockwise until it is secure.
Things to Remember
Batteries
General
› You must establish a communications link every time
you change the batteries.
› To extend the life of your batteries, turn off the pre-
senter when not in use.
› The LED will flash to indicate the batteries need to be
changed.
Safety Measures
› Never point the presenter at people, especially their
faces, or look directly into the presenter’s laser beam,
to avoid possible eye damage.
› Avoid pointing the presenter’s laser beam at a mirror or
other highly reflective surface.
