Installation
Notes:
1. Test to make sure the entire installation works properly before pulling cables through
ceilings/walls.
2. The B122-000-60 has been designed for use with Tripp Lite P568-Series HDMI
cables. To ensure maximum distance and performance, it is recommended that you
use Tripp Lite P568-Series HDMI cabling. For distances over 75ft., 24Awg cable such
as Tripp Lite’s P568-100-HD is required.

Connect the longer HDMI cable between the source and the INPUT port on the
B122-000-60.
Note: When transmitting a 1080p (60Hz) signal, the HDMI cable connecting the source to the
B122-000-60 must be no longer than 150 ft. When transmitting a 1080i (60Hz) signal, the
HDMI cable connecting the source to the B122-000-60 must be no longer than 200 ft.

Connect the shorter HDMI cable between the HDMI monitor and the OUTPUT port on
the B122-000-60. Note: The HDMI cable used to connect the monitor to the
B122-000-60 must be no longer than 16 ft. (5 m.).

Connect the external power supply to the B122-000-60, and plug it into a Tripp Lite
Surge Suppressor, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

If necessary, use the equalization control to adjust the video image.
Note: An improper Equalization setting can result in no image being displayed at all. Try each
setting until an acceptable image is displayed.
