What’s New in Version 5.0?
Redesigned Interface - The user interface has been redesigned to include
step-by-step address entry, more options for entering stops (including
Intersection and Latitude/Longitude) and more labels on buttons to better
convey their functionality.
3D Map Display - Provides a realistic view of the road ahead.
Enhanced 2d Map Display - Combines a larger map display with concise turn
instructions. The path ahead is easy to see now with Route Over Highlighting
and en-route turn arrows.
Night Mode - Reduces glare from the Pocket PC and uses low-contrast map
colors.
Expanded Voice Options - Four options are now available: Male and Female
Text-to-Speech, Male and Female pre-recorded sound files. Turn instruction
warnings at pre-set distance can now be toggled on or off depending on your
preference for a detailed vs. concise voice option.
Map Updates - Map data for all regions has been updated and refined to
ensure that addresses can be found and correct routes can be calculated.
