TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
No song lyrics appear
on screen.
Connect the video cable to the
Singing Machine’s VIDEO OUT
and to the TV VIDEO IN.
Using your TV Remote to select
VIDEO input.
Connect from VIDEO OUT of the
system to the VIDEO IN of your
VCR or Connect to an RF
Modulator and then to the TV
cable input. Refer to “Making the
Connections” on page 9.
Check the disc to be sure it is a
CDG. (See page 5 for details)
Video cable is not connected
properly to the TV.
Source selector on TV is not
set to VIDEO.
Check disc to be sure it is clean.
(See page 16 for cleaning
instructions.)
A CDG is loaded but the
CDG indicator is not lit.

doesn’t correct your problem.
Servicing of a Singing Machine by an unauthorized repair facility will void your warranty. The
Singing Machine cannot guarantee future repairs on machines that have been tampered with by
unauthorized personnel.
TV does not have video line
input.

The Camera Lens is down.
Lift up a Camera Lens.
No image display on
Singing Machine’s
monitor.
Monitor Selector is not set
properly.
Set MONITOR Selector to
CAMERA mode.
Mic volume control.
Adjust mic volume to max. Then
back it off to a comfortable level.
No sound from mic.
Mic is off.
Turn on mic with the ON/OFF
switch located on the microphone.
