unbeam Products, Inc., or if in Canada, Sunbeam Corporation (Canada) Limited (collectively “Sunbeam”)

warrants that for a period of one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects
in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component
of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new
or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made
with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not
transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance.
Sunbeam dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Sunbeam products do not have the right to alter,
modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent
use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions,
disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than Sunbeam or an authorized Sunbeam service center.
Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

What Are the Limits on Sunbeam’s Liability?

Sunbeam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express,
implied or statutory warranty or condition.

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability

should be treated with the same caution as a sharp knife.

Remove stains caused by processing large amounts of carrots or similar vegetables

with baking soda. Rinse stained parts in water and sprinkle with baking soda. Rub

with a soft, damp cloth. Rinse and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners on any

parts.

AINTENANCE

This unit is designed with a safety interlock. The interlock requires that the Cover

be in place before the blade will rotate.(The interlock does not control operation

ofthe Motor

.) To

ensure that the interlock is operating correctly

, holdthe Adaptor

and rotate the Drive Shaft several turns. The metal Star Drive

on the bottom of the

Adaptor should NOT turn.If it does turn, DO

NOTUSE. Return the unit to

an

authorized SUNBEAM

service facility for repair . DO NOT USE THE INTERLOCK

FEATURE AS A SUBSTITUTE

for turning the power unit “OFF” and unplugging

the

power unit before disassembling and cleaning. Never put S Blade on

Processor Bowl. Do not operate if the flexible seal is damaged or missing.The safety

interlock could become jammed.

1.Cut all fruits and vegetables, cooked meats, fish, seafoods and cheeses

intopieces 1 inch or smaller

.

2.Do not exceed the quantities indicated in the Food Processing Charts.

3.Always hold hand firmly on the Cover when starting and running Motor

.

4.Do not process hot liquids

or frozen foods.

5.Do not process whole spices

(except peppercorns) such as nutmeg or cinnamon.

They may cause damage to the surface of the Processor Bowl.

6.Process the hardest foods first, using only a few Fast Pulses to begin chopping.

Add more delicate foods and continue to process using the Fast Pulse technique.

The harder foods will continue to be chopped alongwith the softer foods.

7.Processing of Parmesan cheese, dried dates or other extremely hard foods

isnot

recommended. If a knife cannot easily pierce the food, it should NOT

beprocessed in the Food Processor Accessory

.

8.The Food Processor Accessory is not designed to whip cream, whip egg whites

or process dough. Use a standard mixer forthose

tasks.

9.If liquid leaks from Cover

, there is too much liquid in the recipe.

Adjustthe

liquid level to prevent leakage.

10.The temperature of cheese will affect how it processes. Cheese for spreads

should be at room temperature for a smooth, creamy texture. “Grated” cheese

should be refrigerator cold.

11.Large, harder pieces of food can be processed with several Fast Pulses

tocoarsely chop. Then process continuously for a fine texture.

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Assemble Food Processor Accessory according to instructions.
Place 1/2 cup (125 ml) cheese in processor bowl and cover unit. With hand on cover, process
4 – 6 Fast Pulses or until finely chopped. Remove from processor bowl and set aside. Repeat
until all cheese is processed. Place olives and onions in processor bowl, cover. With hand on cover,
process 3 – 4 Fast Pulses or until finely chopped. Remove from processor bowl and set aside.
Place sour cream, avocado and lemon peel in processor bowl, cover. With hand on cover, process
until smooth. Remove to small serving dish. Place kidney beans, juice and taco sauce in processor
bowl and cover unit. With hand on cover, process until smooth. Remove to small serving dish.
Spread tortilla chips evenly onto a 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1-inch (39 x 27 x 3 cm) pan. Layer 1/2 of
the cheese, all of the onion and olive mixture and then remaining cheese. Bake for 8 – 10 minutes
or until cheese melts. Transfer to heated serving plate and serve with bean dip and avocado sauce.

Yield: 4 – 6 Servings as Appetizers

4 – 8 drops hot pepper sauce

Assemble Food Processor Accessory according to instructions. Place all ingredients in processor
bowl and cover unit. With hand on cover, process 6 Fast Pulses or until vegetables are chopped.
Serve with corn chips

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Assemble Food Processor Accessory according to instructions.
Place first four ingredients of filling in processor bowl and cover unit. With hand on cover,
process until lemon is finely grated. Empty mixture into a 2-quart (2-liter) saucepan. Place next
four ingredients in processor bowl, cover and process until smooth. Stir into grated lemon mixture.
Add 2 cups (500 ml) water and heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Cook and
stir one minute. The mixture should become thick and glossy. Remove from heat and immediately
pour into baked 9-inch (23 cm) pastry shell. Beat 3 egg whites with electric mixer in small bowl
on high speed until foamy. Add vanilla and cream of tartar. Continue beating, gradually adding
sugar, until soft peaks form. Place meringue on top of hot filling. Bake 12 - 14 minutes or until
lightly browned.

Yield: 1 9-Inch (23 cm) Pie

1. Antes de armar, asegúrese que el Adaptador esté operando correctamente. (Vea Mantenimiento

en la Página Español-5) Desenchufe la Base del Motor durante el armado.

2. Coloque el Tazón en el Adaptador de modo que las lengüetas en el Tazón se alineen con la abertura del

seguro. Gire el Tazón contra las agujas del reloj hasta que se trabe en su lugar y no gire más. (Figura 1)

3. Coloque el Adaptador en la Base del Motor.

4. Sostenga la Cuchilla en S por el Eje Central y póngala sobre el poste del Tazón. P

REAUCIÓN

: La cuchilla

es muy filosa, manipúlela con cuidado. Rote la Cuchilla en S para asegurarse de que esté asentada en el
Impulsor hasta el fondo a todo lo que dé. No coloque la Cuchilla en S en el Tazón sino hasta
que el Tazón se trabe en su lugar. (Figura 2) Coloque siempre la cuchilla en S en el Procesador
de Alimentos antes de agregar los ingredientes.

5. Ponga los alimentos en el Tazón del Procesador. Los alimentos que se procesarán se deben

cortar siempre en pedazos de 1 pulgada (2,5 centímetros).

6. Ponga la Tapa en el Tazón, presiónela hacia abajo levemente y gírela a la izquierda hasta

que quede trabada en su lugar. (Figura 3)

NO OPERE LA UNIDAD A MENOS QUE ESTÉ ARMADA TOTALMENTE

7. Encienda la unidad. (Seleccione siempre la graduación de velocidad media a más alta en la Base del Motor.)

SOSTENGA SIEMPRE EL PROCESADOR DE ALIMENTOS FIRMEMENTE CON UNA MANO
AL ARRANCAR LA UNIDAD Y AL PROCESAR.
(Figura 4) Procese hasta alcanzar los resultados
deseados haciendo funcionar la unidad continuamente o con la Pulsación Rápida. La Pulsación Rápida
es la técnica usada para controlar el tamaño de los alimentos que se están procesando con el Accesorio
Procesador de Alimentos. Presione y suelte el botón de Pulso muy rápidamente. Refiérase a la Carta de
Procesamiento para las técnicas, las cantidades y los resultados finales apropiados. (Página Español-6)

8. Ponga el Eje de la Cuchilla sobre el eje impulsor. (Figura 5) Coloque el Disco de Rebanar/Desmenuzar

sobre el Eje de la Cuchilla con la cuchilla de su elección dando frente hacia arriba. P

cuchilla es muy filosa, manipúlela con cuidado.

9. Ponga el poste de la Cubierta con Tubo de Alimentación en el Eje de la Cuchilla, presione hacia abajo

levemente y gire en dirección contraria a las agujas del reloj hasta que enganche en su lugar. (Figura 6)

10. Cargue el tubo para introducir alimentos con los ingredientes antes de poner el procesador

de alimentos en “Encendido”.

11. Coloque el Empujador de Alimentos en el tubo para introducir alimentos. Encienda la unidad. (Seleccione

el ajuste en media a máxima velocidad.) Mientras sostiene el Empujador de Alimentos con una mano
y el tubo para introducir alimentos en la otra, empuje suavemente hacia abajo en el Empujador de los
Alimentos. Utilice siempre el Empujador de Alimentos para alimentos más uniformemente rebanados o
desmenuzados. – NUNCA UTILICE SUS DEDOS. Cuando está terminado, apague la unidad en “OFF”.

Seleccione siempre la graduación de velocidad más alta en la Base del Motor.
