Your camera comes with rechargeable lithium battery. To prevent
damage, correctly insert the battery as shown.
Once the battery is inserted into the camera, plug one end of the
supplied cable into the wall power outlet and the other end directly
into the camera's DC input to begin charging the battery. Battery
charging time is approx. 2 hours.
TIP: To maximize the performance of your camera and for greater
battery life, control the use of the flash, photo review, and LCD
brightness levels.

packing materials in a safe place, in case you need to later return it for
servicing.
