When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE

• Always operate the hand blender from power source of the same voltage,

• Do not use with an extension cord.

• Close supervision is necessary when hand blender is used by or near children,

to the product.

• After each operation, allow the hand blender to cool for 3 minutes before using

by the blade.

• To protect against fire, do not operate the unit in the presence

of explosive and/or flammable fumes.

• This hand blender should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water,

such as bathtub, washbowls, swimming pool, etc., where the likelihood
of immersion or splashing could occur.

• Switch off and unplug from outlet while not in use, before putting on

or taking off parts and before cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug;
do not pull on the cord.

• Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas

and other utensils away from blade during operation to reduce the risk of injury

NFORMATION

• The lid can be easily used as a cover for storage.
• For added stability, use the dual purpose lid on the base of the Blending Cup.

• The cup which is included with your hand blender functions as a blending cup,

a measuring cup and can also be used for storage.

• Use the slow speed where possible especially if you want to chop the food into

bigger pieces. The high speed can be used for chopping the food to small pieces
or for pureed foods.

• You can adjust the speed of the unit with the speed control when using slow

speed or high speed function. (Model 2612)

• Set the speed control dial to the desired speed and depress the slow or high

speed button as desired. (Model 2609)

• If the ingredients stick to the chopper bowl sides, loosen them by adding

a small amount of liquid or by using a spatula to scrape the food back into
the inner part of the bowl.

• Release the speed control button and allow the blade to come to a complete

stop before removing the bowl cover by turning cover to the left. Take care
when removing the blade and hold only by the shaft handle as the metal blade
is sharp.

food into bowl after blade is removed.

CAUTION: Unplug the appliance before attaching the chopper attachment.

Put the food ingredients in the chopper bowl, secure the bowl
cover to the chopping bowl and attach the motor housing to it.
