• Always plug the DC adapter’s barrel plug into the
SCP-84 before you plug its power module into your
vehicle’s cigarette-lighter socket, and unplug its
power module from your vehicle’s cigarette-lighter’s
socket before you unplug its barrel plug from the
SCP-84.
Follow these steps to power the SCP-84 from your vehi-
cles’s cigarette-lighter socket.
1. Set the adapter’s voltage switch to 3V.
2. Insert the 3.4 mm outer diameter/1.3 mm inner diam-
eter barrel plug into the DC adapter’s socket. Line up
negative (–) on the plug with TIP on the socket.
3. Insert the plug into the SCP-84’s DC 3V jack.
4. Plug the adapter into the vehicle’s cigarette-lighter
socket.
