Single Sideband mode
On SW some stations transmit in Morse code (CW). In
addition some SW stations transmit using a special type
of voice transmission called single sideband (SSB)
1. To tune into a CW or SSB transmission select the
required SW band.
2. Set the SSB/AM switch to the SSB position. Set the
Clarify control to the mid position. Tune into the station
using one of the previously described methods.
3. Select fine tuning mode by pushing in the Tuning
control.
4. Slowly rotate the Clarify and Tuning controls to find
the point giving best reception.
