3. Insert the new battery as indicated
by the polarity symbols (+ and –)
marked beside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover.
Notes:
• The built-in memory saver stores
messages and settings for a short
time while you change the battery.
• Turn off the pager when you are not
using it. See “Automatic Operation.”
• A battery should last for 850 to 950
hours of use.
