NAILING
TAB
To install the fireplace face
flush with the finished sur-
face, position the frame-
work to accommodate the
thickness of the finished
surface. Bend out the four
nailing tabs, attached on ei-
ther side of the fireplace and
secure to the 2x4 framing.
The tabs will facilitate the in-
stallation of either a
3 /
4
" or a
1" finished surface thick-
ness. The nailing tabs
must not be removed.
