5 Troubleshooting
Correcting common errors
From time to time you may observe faults with your photos.
The following information will help you solve problems you
may encounter.
Picture Fault Cause Corrective Action
Repeated, evenly
spaced spots
Dirty developer roll-
ers.
Clean developer
rollers.
Missing corners, or
orange-red marks
along edges
Pull the film tab from
the camera at an
angle.
Pull the yellow/black
film tab straight from
the camera.
Dried developer on
rollers.
Clean the rollers.
Rectangular outline in
print
The white leader was
not pulled completely
off prior to pulling the
film tab; white tab
passed through the
rollers with film.
Pull white tab com-
pletely out of the
camera before pulling
the film from the
camera.
