These improved universal remotes now offer consumers even more
functionality and ease of use.They are the ideal replacements for lost
or broken remotes of almost any brand, and are ready to use with
Philips’ equipment.Thanks to Philips Simple System Set-up
™ , they are
also ready to operate all main brands in seconds, using the patented
hands-free Autosearch feature, or via a simple, two-step set-up.The
new shift key feature effectively doubles the functionality of each unit;
functions such as Menu, and Colour and Brightness control are now
available at your fingertips. Each model has an improved code list.
And the clear, white Programme and Volume symbols on the housing
make operating these models even easier.
Packaging has also been improved. Listed on the front are the local
major brands (per country) that the remote can be used for.The
layout is clearer and more colourful for attracting the consumer’s
attention, and the Help-line symbol is immediately visible for con-
sumer peace-of-mind.The back of the packaging features a list of all
the brands that each remote control can operate, with packaging
details in languages appropriate to specific country clusters.
