1 Press MENU button on the remote control
to display the onscreen menu.
2 Press CURSOR < or > until you see
DTV Setup highlighted.
3 Press CURSOR > to display the DTV
Setup options.
4 Press CURSOR < or > until you
see Close Caption highlighted. Press
CURSOR > to enter Display menu
options.
5 Press CURSOR > to toggle to the options
that you want – Off, Always on or On
when muted.
6 When finished, press MENU button on the
remote control to exit the menu from the
TV
screen.
CLOSE CAPTIONING DISPLAY IN DIGITAL MODE
W hen in digital mode, you can assign display options to your closed captioning options.
This feature is ONLY available in Digital Mode.

CAPTION OPTION IN DIGITAL MODE
1 Press MENU button on the remote control
to display the onscreen menu.
2 Press CURSOR < or > until you see DTV
Setup highlighted.
3 Press CURSOR > to display the DTV Setup
options .
4 Press CURSOR < or > until you
see Close Caption highlighted. Press
CURSOR > to enter Caption Option
menu options.
5 Press CURSOR > to toggle to the options
that you want – Use Default or Use
Options.
6 When Use Options is choosen, you will
be prompted to select text size, color, opacity,
edge color, type and CC background color.
7 When finished, press MENU button on the
remote control to exit the menu from the TV
screen.

An alternative way of activating
closed caption is by pressing the CC
button on the remote control.
Close Captions may take 10 - 20
seconds to appear on the TV screen.
