2 Insert 6 x 1.5V R14/UM-2/C-cell batteries with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
3 Close the battery compartment.

If you want to save battery life, use the supplied power cord.

Connect AC power
Warning

Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC adaptor, always pull the plug from the socket.

Never pull the cord.

Install the unit near the power supply socket and where the AC power plug can be easily

1 Connect the power cord to the AC MAINS~ socket on the CD Soundmachine and to the
power supply socket.
To switch the CD Soundmachine off completely, disconnect the power cord from the •
power supply socket.

To save energy: After use, set the source selector to

OFF . To turn off the CD Soundmachine,
disconnect the plug from the power supply socket.
