Widescreen HDTV
66 cm (26") Progressive Scan
Integrated HDTV Cable Ready
The built-in HDTV tuner that receives and
displays terrestrial ATSC and unscrambled
cable signals
Progressive Scan
Progressive Scan doubles the vertical
resolution of the image resulting in a noticeably
sharper picture. Instead of sending a field
comprising the odd lines to the screen first,
followed by the field with the even lines, both
fields are written at one time. A full image is
created instantaneously, using the maximum
resolution. At such a speed, your eye perceives
a sharper picture with no line structure.
Active Control + Light Sensor
Active Control is a unique and intelligent way
of optimizing picture quality by measuring and
analyzing the incoming signal to automatically
adjust picture quality settings. Active Control
with Light Sensor uses a sensor to adjust the
picture brightness depending on the room light
conditions.
Dolby Digital Surround
Because Dolby Digital and DTS, the world's
leading digital multi-channel audio standards,
make use of the way the human ear naturally
processes sound, you experience superb
quality surround sound audio with realistic
spatial cues.
Electronic Program Guide
The Electronic Program Guide (EPG) will
provide you with an overview, listing the
program information
1 Tuner Picture in Picture
With 1 tuner Picture-in-Picture, you can view
video from an external source in a small
window on your screen.
Widescreen movie modes
Enhance your viewing experience with
Widescreen movie modes, which lets you
choose the screen format from various
options. View your movie the way it is meant
to be.
HDMI input
HDMI makes an uncompressed digital RGB
connection from the source to the screen. By
eliminating conversion to an analog signal, it
delivers an unblemished image. The non-
degraded signal reduces flicker and leads to a
clearer picture. HDMI intelligently
communicates the highest output resolution
with the source device. The HDMI input is fully
backward compatible with DVI sources but
includes digital audio. HDMI uses HDCP copy
protection.
Component Video Input (YPbPr)
Component Video is the highest quality
interconnection standard for analog video. It is
sharper than S-video and composite video.
