• Setting Shutter Speed

Shutter priority is the ability to set the shutter speed over its full range

and have the camera calculate the best aperture to expose the image

correctly. When you set the shutter speed in the shutter speed-priority

mode, the camera automatically selects an aperture value to match the

brightness. Faster shutter speeds allow you to capture a moving subject

while slower speeds creates a moving effect and allow you to shoot

without a flash in dark areas. Use a tripod or similar device when using

slower shutter speeds.
