! There is sometimes a delay between starting
up CD playback and the sound being issued.
When being read in, Format Read is dis-
played.
! If you cannot insert a disc completely or if
after you insert a disc the disc does not play,
check that the label side of the disc is up.
Press EJECT to eject the disc, and check the
disc for damage before inserting it again.
! If the built-in CD player does not operate prop-
erly, an error message such as ERROR-11
may be displayed. Refer to Understanding
built-in CD player error messages on page 56.
! You can eject the CD by pressing and holding
EJECT with opening the front panel when the
CD loading or ejecting cannot operate proper-
ly.
Adjustingthe volume
% Use Multi-Control to adjust the sound
level.
With the head unit, rotate Multi-Control to in-
crease or decrease the volume.
With the remote control, press VOLUME to in-
crease or decrease the volume.
Volume bar and power output mode (40W or
60W) are displayed while volume is adjusted.
! Please refer to the installation manual for
the power setting switch.
Turningthe unit off
% Press SOURCE and hold until the unit
turns off.
