Child lock
When set to on, the remote control functions normally,
but all front panel controls are inoperative.
1 Switch the system into standby.
2 Press SYSTEM MENU and select CHILD
LOCK.
• Change menu options using the
2 and 3 buttons.
Press ENTER to select the currently displayed option.
3 Use the
5 or ∞ button to select LOCK
ON or LOCK OFF as required, then press
ENTER.
The system returns to standby.
Beep mode
When set to on, the system beeps when you touch

2 Press SYSTEM MENU and select BEEP
MODE.
• Change menu options using the
2 and 3 buttons.
Press ENTER to select the currently displayed option.
3 Use the
5 or ∞ button to select BEEP
ON or BEEP OFF as required.
The system returns to standby.
Tuner frequency step
As its default setting, the tuner jumps in steps of 10kHz
when tuning in AM stations. If you find that this is
unsuitable in your area (if you can’t tune into stations
successfully), you can change the tuning interval to
9kHz for AM.
1 Switch the system into standby.
2 Press SYSTEM MENU and select TUNER F.
