Installing Your Telephone
Setting the Dialling Mode
Set your dialling mode to either Tone or Pulse depending on which dialling
system is used. To test if the dialling mode works, dial a digit. If dialling tone is
still heard, you have to change to the other dialling mode.

Adjust your ringer volume by doing the following.

Setting the Recall Mode
Set your recall mode to either Time Break Recall(TBR) mode or Earth Leg
Recall(ELR) mode. If in doubt, contact your network operator.

Setting the TBR (Flash) Time
Set your TBR (Flash) time according to the specification of your exchange, if in
doubt, contact your network operator.
You have 3 TBR time choices: 100 ms, 270 ms or 600 ms

Note: A telephone number may not consist of more than 32 digits including
pauses, and the buttons

Some telephones might need to wait for a second dialling tone in order
to dial the stored memory; in this case, insert a pause wherever necessary
by pressing
, if the pause is not long enough, extend the pause duration by pressing
two to three times.
