Polycom Conference Suite (PCS)
The Polycom Conference Suite is comprised
of the Network Aware Scheduler for end
users, and Video Network Management
tool for IT professionals. The Network
Aware Scheduler makes it easy to schedule conferences
by enabling users to invite guests, book rooms, and select
necessary equipment, all from within Microsoft Outlook or
through a Web interface. Conferences can be run as point-
to-point, embedded multipoint or on standalone MCUs like
the MGC. The Polycom Video Network Management allows
IT professionals to proactively track and adjust the network
as needed from any location. PCS is managed through a
web interface and also supports equipment from major
video equipment manufacturers.
Polycom Global
Management System (GMS)
The Polycom Global Management System
is an intelligent web-based management
software solution for IT professionals
who need to manage Polycom network devices within an
enterprise-wide video and audio communications network.
Global Management System is the only solution that
provides administrative support by uniquely providing
System Management and Monitoring, Global Directory,
Software Update, Provisioning, Account Management,
Remote Alerts and Reports for Polycom devices.
Polycom WebCommander
Polycom’s WebCommander is for advanced
end-users and is an intuitive web-based
interface for scheduling, monitoring and
managing video and audio conferences
on the Polycom MGC. WebCommander empowers users
to control all aspects of setting up and running conferences
on Polycom MGC platforms. Key features include real-time
conference control, on-demand and scheduled conference
initiation, and a personal scheduler module which enables
scheduling through Microsoft Outlook.
