Wind the cord round the cord storage facility of the appliance (Fig. 11).
The appliance can be stored in vertical or horizontal position (Fig. 1).
Environment
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its life, but
hand it in at an official collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to preserve the
environment (Fig. 13).
Non-rechargeable batteries contain substances that may pollute the environment. Do not throw
away non-rechargeable batteries with the normal household waste, but dispose of them at an
official collection point for batteries. Always remove the non-rechargeable batteries before you
discard and hand in the appliance at an official collection point.

Use a crosshead screwdriver to remove the four screws of the inside cover plate of the
lower handle. (Fig. 1)
Remove the inside cover plate and take out the timer.
Remove the battery from the timer and hand the battery in at an official collection point.

Ham, cheese and pineapple sandwiches
4 slices of white bread
2 slices of cheese
2 slices of pineapple
2 thin slices of ham
curry powder

Let the sandwich maker heat up.
Put the cheese, the pineapple and the ham on two slices of bread. Sprinkle the ham with
some curry powder and put the other two slices of bread on top.
Follow the instructions in chapter ‘Using the appliance’.
