Digital Link Plus does not function.
a) Euro-AV cable is not fully wired (pin 10 not
wired).
b) Some recorders can only adopt stations during
the initial installation of the TV set.
c) All or some of the terrestrial and cable stations
are stored on station storage locations ≥ 99.
a) Replace the Euro-AV cable.
b) Restore the recorder to the as-delivered state (see
recorder’s operating instructions).
c) Rearrange the terrestrial and cable stations so
that they fall between 1 and 99.
Various characters are displayed incorrectly in the
teletext.
The wrong character set is set in the teletext menu.
Set the right character set: Teletext menu - Settings
- Character set: standard or the appropriate character
set.
No sound via external digital audio amplifier.
a) The external digital audio amplifier does not sup-
port the selected sound format (Dolby Digital,
dts, MPEG).
b) TV set and external digital audio amplifier are
not connected.
a) Set PCM stereo on the DVD player in the sound
selection. For DVB stations, switch language/
sound selection (green coloured key) to Stereo on
the TV set in the status display (END).
b) Connect Digital-Out from the TV set to a Digital-In
of the external digital audio amplifier and select
the appropriate input to this.
