Shielded cables must be used with this equipment to maintain

Introduction
L’ USB EXTENDER peut être utilisé pour étendre la distance
entre un ordinateur et un périphérique USB jusqu’à 50 mètres.
Cela consiste en une unité locale avec connecteur USB Type
A (côté ordinateur) et une unité distante (côté périphérique)
avec connecteur USB type A femelle intégré. Un câble Cat. 5
STP standard est utilisé pour connecter les deux boîtiers.
Pour certains périphériques USB bas débit, il est possible
d’étendre la longueur de connexion à 100m maximum.
Ceci n’est tout de même pas garanti.

Remarque Importante 1: Le nombre maximum de hubs pour
une connexion ne doit pas dépasser 5 hubs ! Si vous utilisez
un câble de 50m UTP/STP vous n’aurez pas besoin de
connecter de hubs supplémentaires!
Remarque Importante 2: Si vous utilisez un périphérique
consommant beaucoup de puissance, comme des modems,
etc…., vous devez obligatoirement utiliser l’alimentation
fournie avec ce périphérique!
Remarque Importante 3: Cette extension USB ne supporte
pas le mode suspend 50µa.

! ATTENTION !
Cet appareil ne répond pas à toutes les spécifications USB.
Il permet d’étendre la longueur maximale de 5m de la norme
USB pour un segment.
Il se peut que le port USB ne fonctionne pas correctement si
vous connectez plusieurs périphériques en supplément de
l’extension.
Introduzione
Il Lindy USB EXTENDER permette di utilizzare periferiche
USB fino a 50 m di distanza dal computer. Questo sistema è
composto da un unità locale con un connettore USB tipo A
(lato del computer Host) ed un’unità remota con connettore
USB tipo A femmina (lato periferica) . Per connettore questo
due unità si utilizza un cavo per reti locali standard Cat. 5
(UTP o STP) lungo fino a 50 m.
Per alcune periferiche USB a bassa velocità come i mouse è
possibile raggiungere una distanza fino a 100m ma questa
caratteristica on può essere garantita.

Raccomandazioni:
1: Il numero massimo di Hub in una connessione USB dal
PC alla periferica non può essere superiore a 5 inclusi
qualsiasi Hub USB, prolunga attiva o il numero di Hub
equivalenti di questo USB Extender!
Di conseguenza usando un cavo UPT/STP da 50 non si
potranno utilizzare altri Hub USB o prolunghe attive fra il PC
e la periferica.
2: Se utilizzato periferica USB ad alto assorbimento di
corrente (Modem, Drive Esterni, ecc..) con questo Extender
ricordatevi di collegare sempre l’alimentatore fornito in
dotazione
Caution 3: Questo extender non supporta il sistema di
sospensione automatica con limite a 50uA.

Questa unità non rispetta completamente le specifiche USB
per cui esso può estendere oltre i 5m imposti dalla specifica
solo un segmento USB. Non verrà inoltre registrato nel BUS
USB. L’utente deve tener conto di tutte le raccomandazioni
precedentemente descritte; in caso contrario il BUS USB
potrebbe non funzionare correttamente. Questa periferica
dovrebbe essere connessa direttamente ad una porta USB
