Taking into use

To be able to take the desk lamp into use it must first
of all be fitted with a bulb (40W / E14).

Insert the bulb into the bulb holder and secure
it by turning it in a clockwise direction.

Utilisation

Place the lamp at a suitable location, as detailed
in the Safety Instructions.

Insert the power cable into the wall socket.
You can now switch the lamp on and off at the
switch

the flexible swan neck only

. The lamp shade can get very

hot when the lamp is in use.

Changing the bulb

CAUTION!

Check to ensure that the power plug is removed
from the wall socket. This avoids the potential
risk of electric shock! If the lamp has been in
use, first allow it to cool down completely. This
avoids the potential risk of being burnt.

Turn the bulb anti-clockwise until it can be
removed from the bulb holder.

Insert the new bulb into the bulb holder and
secure it by turning it in a clockwise direction.

Cleaning

CAUTION!

Check to ensure that the power plug is removed
from the wall socket. This avoids the potential
risk of electric shock! If the lamp has been in
use, first allow it to cool down completely. This
avoids the potential risk of being burnt.

Clean the appliance only with a dry or lightly
moistened cloth. Do not use abrasive or aggres-
sive cleaning agents, these could damage the
upper surfaces.
