Organizing your files
You can place different files into different directories in order to play and manage the
files selectively. The player supports the root level and one folder level. The player
recognizes up to 9 folders, but does not recognize folders nested within other folders.
To create a directory structure, connect the player to a computer with a USB cable.
Make folders on the MP3 player disk and copy in your files.
1) In Music, Recording, or Voice Playback modes, press the “Mode” button.
2) In the submenu, select Local Dir and press the “Mode” button.
3) Press “Next” to scroll through the available directories.
4) Press “Mode” to set the current directory.
Deleting Files
1) In Music, Recording, or Voice Playback modes, press the “Mode” button.
2) In the submenu, select Delete File and press the “Mode” button.
3) Press “Next” to select Yes. Press “Next” again to select No.
4) Press “Mode” to confirm selection.
Delete All
Delete All only deletes all the files of a given type depending on the player mode
selected. For example, in Music mode, all music files will be deleted in a directory,
but recording files will not be deleted.
Delete FM
You can delete saved FM stations following the instructions above.
While deleting the files, please make sure not to pull the USB cable out. If
interrupted, the file may be corrupted and become undelete-able.
