• To adjust the pivoting shoe, pull the Locking Lever upward to release the
pivoting shoe.
• Slide the pivoting shoe in or out until it is in the appropriate position.
• Lock the pivoting shoe in place by releasing the Locking Lever.
• Pull outward on the pivoting shoe to ensure it is firmly in place.

The variable speed control wheel (1) controls
the speed at which the saw will run. To set the
speed control at the slowest speed, rotate the
speed control wheel toward MIN on the dial. To
set the speed control at the fastest speed,
rotate the speed control wheel backward to
MAX. To select intermediate speeds, rotate the
speed control to an appropriate position
between MAX and MIN on the speed control
wheel.

The lock-off button (1) is a safety device designed to reduce the possibility of
accidentally starting the saw. This button must be depressed before the trigger
switch (2) can be depressed.
To turn the saw ON, depress and hold the lock-off button and squeeze the trigger
switch. Once the saw starts, release the lock-off button. The saw will remain
running until the trigger switch is released.
N NO OT TE E:: The saw will run at the speed selected on the speed control wheel.
To turn the saw OFF, release the trigger switch.
N NO OT TE E:: The saw will not restart until you depress the lock-off switch and squeeze the
trigger switch.
