Putting into operation

➩ Place the Solar Lamp in a suitable location.
➩ Switch the function switch 1 to the ON

position.

Note:

The charging process will only start if the
function switch 1 is in the ON position.

➩ You charge the Solar Lamp by subjecting it

to intensive sunlight for a period of approx.
16 hours.

➩ When the battery is charged, the Solar Lamp

switches itself on automatically at twilight.

➩ Switch the function switch 1 to the OFF

position to switch off the Solar lamp.

Note:

It can take a few days until the Solar Lamp has
reached its optimal performance efficiency.

Cleaning

Wipe the Solar lamp and the collector panel 2
with a moist cloth. Do not use aggressive or
chemical cleaning agents. These could result
in damage to the appliance.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance in
your normal domestic waste. This
product is subject to the European
directive 2002/96/EG.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste
facility.
Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste
disposal centre.

Disposing of batteries

Do not dispose of batteries with household
waste. Every consumer is legally obliged to
dispose of batteries at a collection site of his
community/city district or at a retail store.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries are disposed of in a non-polluting
manner. Only dispose of batteries when they
are fully discharged.
To remove the rechargeable battery loosen the
screws on the collector panel 2 and lift it out
of the Solar lamp. Open the battery compart-
ment and remove the rechargeable battery.

Dispose of all packaging materials in
an environmentally friendly manner.
