Intrinsic Safety
The DT590 phone is not specified as intrinsically safe, so do not
use it in areas with a danger of explosion.
Preparing for Use
Before using the DT590 the first time you have to charge and
connect the battery, see section “ Installation ” on page 141.
Note : Place the phone in the charger and charge it for at
least one hour before using it the first time.
Coverage Area
Your organization’s premises are covered by a number of cells
which form the coverage area. You can make and answer calls
anywhere within this area, outside the area you will lose contact
with the system.
