POSITIONING THE CYLINDER
1. Remove lock pins from the cylinder retention clips and rotate clips down exposing the open slots on the
cylinder retention bracket (reference Figure 2).
2. Slide the Cylinder forward until the rear trunnions clear the slots then lift the back side of the cylinder until
the rear trunnions clear the cylinder retention bracket and slide cylinder back until the front cylinder
trunnions slide into the open slots of the cylinder retention bracket (reference arrow in Figure 2).
3. Rotate the cylinder retention clips upward around the cylinder trunnions and lock them in place using the
lock pins.
4. Next you need to remove the lock pin from the beam pivot bracket and rotate the beam counter clockwise
90 degrees until the pivot holes are in alignment and reinstall ball lock pin (reference Figure 4). Your
splitter is now in the horizontal operating position.
5. Remove the hitch pin from the beam pivot (reference Figure 4). Pivot your beam into the vertical position
and reinstall the hitch pin in the center hole (reference Figure 5). Your splitter is now in the vertical
operating position.
