Adjust the sensitivity
For the SKM 5000 the sensitivity of the
microphone can be adopted for each recording
situation in steps of 10 dB.
The selector switch becomes accessible when
unscrewing the microphone head. (

Switch on the roll-off filter
Below the selector switch for the sensitivity
there is situated a further sliding switch. It
serves for the additional connection of a filter
which attenuates undesired low frequency
noises like those caused by machines, by wind
and sound impacts. Below approx. 200 Hz this
filter attenuates with 6 dB/octave.
