IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
■ Read all instructions before using Mixer.
■ Close supervision is necessary when Mixer is used near children.
■ This appliance is not for use by children.
■ Do not leave Mixer unattended.
■ Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking
off parts and before cleaning.
■ Do not contact moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well
as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters or dough hooks
during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons, and/or
damage to the Mixer.
■ Do not operate a damaged Mixer. Do not operate with a damaged
cord or plug or after the Mixer malfunctions, or has been dropped
or damaged in any manner. Contact Consumer Service for return
authorization, examination, repair or electrical or mechanical
adjustment.
■ To protect against the risk of electrical shock do not immerse
body of Mixer, cord or plug in water or other liquid. See
instructions for cleaning.
■ The use attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
■ Do not use outdoors or while standing in a damp area.
■ Do not use Mixer for other than intended use.
■ Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces, including the stove.
■ Remove beaters or dough hooks from Mixer before washing them.
■ Do not place Mixer on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
