Chapter 5 - Trouble Shooting
PROBLEM POSSIBLE
CAUSE SOLUTION
SPIRIT will not
turn on Battery Dead Check that the battery is charged.
(See 1.2)
Try powering the SPIRIT from the
universal adapter.
(See1.3)
SPIRIT will not
respond to any
button presses Button lock is switched on Switch off the button lock.
(See 2.1.3)
There is no sound
from the
headphones Headphone plug not inserted
correctly
Volume is turned down low Check that the headphone plug is
properly inserted.
Check that the volume level is not at its
lowest setting.
(See 2.1.2)
Files are not
appearing in the
play list when I try
to download to
the SPIRIT Files in the play list are in
unsupported formats Use the record function in Widows
Media Player or your music player of
choice to encode the files into MP3 or
WMA format.
