• Lave y enjuague la jarra con un paño suave. No use

Limpieza de la cafetera
Su cafetera necesitará limpieza cuando usted comience
a observar una formación excesiva de vapor o una
prolongación considerable del tiempo de filtrado. Esto
es provocado por una acumulación de depósitos de
limo y minerales contenidos en el agua. Si la acción de
bombeo se detiene antes de que se haya expulsado toda
el agua de la máquina, el aparato necesita una limpieza.
La frecuencia de las limpiezas depende de la dureza del
agua utilizada. La tabla siguiente contiene intervalos de
limpieza sugeridos.

1. Vierta un cuarto de vinagre blanco de uso doméstico
diluido en su cafetera.
2. Ponga un filtro de papel en el portafiltro y coloque
el portafiltro en su lugar. Cierre la tapa del
reservorio por completo.
3. Ponga la jarra vacía sobre el plato de calentamiento
y ponga la cafetera en ON (encendido). Cuando
hayan pasado 3 tazas, ponga la cafetera en OFF
(apagado) y déjela reposar entre

en la cafetera.
5. Ponga la jarra vacía sobre el plato de calentamiento.

• Wash and rinse decanter thoroughly using a soft
cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners. These
may cause scratches, which can lead to breakage.
• Decanter and lid are top-rack dishwasher safe.
Coffeemaker Cleaning
Your coffeemaker must be cleaned when you begin
to notice excessive steaming or the brewing time
increases considerably. This condition is caused by
a buildup of lime and mineral deposits from your
water . If the pumping action stops before all the
water has been pumped out of the machine, then the
appliance requires cleaning. The frequency of cleaning
depends on the hardness of water used. The following
table gives the suggested cleaning intervals.

1. Pour one quart of undiluted white household
vinegar into your coffeemaker .
2. Place a paper filter into the filter basket and insert
the filter basket into place. Close reservoir lid
completely.
3. Place the empty decanter on the warming plate
and turn the coffeemaker ON. When 3 cups have
flowed through, turn the coffeemaker OFF and let
stand for a
