CHAPTER 5 – TROUBLESHOOTING
Power Indicator Problems
If you encounter problems with the interactive pen display’s Power indicator, refer to
the following table:
Symptom
Solution
The Power indicator is green
but you are unable to see an
image on the display.
• See Image Problems on page 42.
The Power indicator is
amber, the computer is on,
and it is not in Sleep or
Power Management mode.
• Make sure that the length of the video cable does
not exceed 15m (50').
• Turn off your computer and make sure that:
–
the video cable is correctly connected to the
interactive pen display and the computer.
–
the video cable is not bent or broken and
does not have bent or broken pins in either
connector.
NOTE
If you are using a video cable adapter,
check those connections as well.
–
the video card in your computer is installed
correctly and is operating properly.
• If the problem persists, see Image Problems on
The Power indicator is off.
• Make sure that the interactive pen display is
turned on.
• Make sure that the interactive pen display’s power
cable is connected properly.
• If the Power indicator still does not illuminate,
