Changing the general settings
(PSM)
You can change the items listed on the table
below and on page 25 by using the PSM
(Preferred Setting Mode) control.
• The PSM items are grouped into six
categories—MOVIE, CLOCK, DISP (display),
TUNER, AUDIO, and COLOR.
Basic Procedure

Press and hold SEL (select) for more
than 2 seconds so that one of the
PSM items appears on the display.
(See pages 24 and 25.)
The next-step-operation
buttons start flashing.

Press number button to select one
of the PSM category.
The first-listed item in the selected category
appears.

Select the PSM item you want to
adjust. (See pages 24 and 25.)
• By pressing ¢ or 4 repeatedly,
you can also move to other categories.

Adjust the PSM item selected.

Repeat steps 2 to 4 to adjust the
other PSM items if necessary.

Finish the setting.
