7 Press or to highlight USA Parental Locks,
then press or to open the USA Parental
Locks screen.
8 Press or to move to the TV Ratings list.
9 Press or to select the rating you want
to block, then press ENTER. A lock symbol
appears next to the rating you blocked. When
you block a rating, that rating and all higher
ratings are blocked.
10 Press ENTER to confirm.
11 Press MENU to return to the previous menu, or
press EXIT to close the menu.
U.S. Movie ratings
To set U.S. movie parental control levels:
1 Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.
2 Press or to highlight Settings, then press
or ENTER. The Settings menu opens.
3 Press or to highlight Parental Controls,
then or . The Enter Password screen opens.
4 Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit
password. The default password is 0000. You
should change the password to a number you
can remember. The Parental Controls menu
opens.
5 Press or to highlight Program Lock, then
press ENTER. The Program Block menu opens.
Note
To unblock a blocked rating, press ENTER, then enter
the parental control password.
U.S. movie (MPAA) ratings
G General audiences.
PG Parental guidance suggested. Some
material may not be suitable for
children.
PG-13 Parental guidance strongly suggested.
Some material may not be suitable for
children under 13 years of age.
R Not suitable for children under 17
years of age unless accompanied by a
parent or guardian.
NC-17 Not suitable for children under 17
X Adults only
None Movie not rated
