Using The iHM12
The iHM12 can be connected to virtually any portable audio device
that has a stereo 1/8 inch mini-jack audio output (headphone jack),
including iPods, iPhones and other portable MP3 players or phones.
1. Place the power switch in its OFF Position.
2. Turn down the volume of the audio source.
3. Insert the iHM12’s 1/8 inch mini-plug into the headphone jack of
your audio device.
4. Turn the power switch to ON.
5. Begin playback of the audio source.
6. Adjust volume using the volume control on your audio device. If
you experience distortion, turn down the volume.
7. For iPhone compatibility, the iPhone must be outside the inner net
holder.
1. Using the zipper, open the iHM12.
2. Place the power switch in its OFF position.
3. Open the battery compartment on the iHM12.
4. Insert 3 x “AAA” (LR3) batteries, making sure to match the + and -
polarity on the batteries to the diagram in the battery compartment.
5. Close battery compartment.
For best results: Alkaline batteries are recommended.
Do not mix battery types or old and new batteries.
Installing Batteries
The batteries should be changed if the power indicator fades or fails
to light when the unit is powered ON. Low battery power will affect
sound quality. Make sure you change the batteries if you begin to
experience distortion that is not related to sound volume.
Dispose of batteries properly (see local regulations).
