Safety cut-out if the touch controls
are covered
The cooktop will turn off automatically if
any of the touch controls are covered
for more than 10 seconds, for example
by finger contact, food boiling over, or
by an object such as an oven mitt or
towel.
At the same time as the cooktop turns
itself off a tone will sound every 30 sec-
onds (for a maximum of 10 minutes)
and an
F will flash in the display of the
touch control which has been covered:
^ Clean the control area or remove the
object.
This will turn off the signal and the
F will
go out.
^ Turn the cooktop back on again with
the ON / OFF touch control
s. The
cooking zones can now be used.
