Note:
Horizontal headlamp aim normally
never changes and needs readjustment
only after repair to the body or a
headlamp unit. Therefore, do not turn
the horizontal adjustment screw (2) if
pins in sight glasses (7) and (8) show
the same value.
Adjusting Headlamp
Correct headlamp adjustment is
extremely important. To check and
readjust a headlamp do the following:
• Park unloaded vehicle on level
surface. Check with carpenter's
level.
• Remove cover above head
lamp. Move retaining clamp (3)
aside and remove cover.
Vertical headlamp aim:
Turn adjusting screw (1) until bubble
in level (6) is in center of the marking
(bold line).
Horizontal headlamp aim:
Turn adjustment screw (2) until pins
in sight glasses (7) and (8) show the
same value.
4 Reinstall cover and fasten with
retaining clamp (3).
5 Reinstall cover above headlamp.
