INTRODUCTION

• Incorrect use of this appliance may cause

• Use for its intended purpose only. The manu-

facturer.is.not.responsible.for.any.injury.or.da-
mage resulting from incorrect use or handling
(see also Guarantee Terms).

• For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or com-

mercial use.

•. For.connection.to.230.V,.50.Hz.only.
• Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in

water and make sure no water enters the ap-
pliance.

• Never touch the appliance, cord or plug with

wet or damp hands.

•. Keep.the.appliance.under.constant.supervision.

• Only use accessories manufactured or re-

commended by the manufacturer.

Use
• Always place the appliance on a dry, level, firm

and heat-resistant surface well away from any
edges.

lecloths or similar.

• The appliance must not be placed or stored

near.other.sources.of.heat.

•. Do.not.cover.
• Never insert your fingers or any metal objects

• The metal parts get very hot during use. Do not

touch them due to the danger of burns.

it to cool completely before you put it away or

• The appliance should be regularly emptied of

crumbs, as these could cause a fire.

• Do not heat food wrapped in foil and similar

material or very thick slices of bread in the ap-
pliance, as this could cause a fire.

Cord and plug
•. Do.not.let.the.cord.hang.out.over.the.edge.of.

the work surface.

• Check that it is not possible to pull or trip over

the.cord.or.any.extension.cord..

• Keep the cord and appliance away from heat

sources, hot objects, naked flames and the hot
parts.of.the.appliance.

• Turn off the appliance and remove the plug

from the socket when cleaning or when not in
use. Avoid pulling the cord when removing the
plug from the socket. Instead, hold the plug.

• The cord must not be twisted or wound around

• Check regularly that neither cord nor plug is

damaged and do not use if they are, or if the
