l Check whether the battery is exhausted.
l Check whether the battery had been
inserted in properly.
Actions
l Replace with a new battery.

according to the polarity.

l Check whether VOLUME is set to "0".
l Check whether the battery is exhausted.
l Check whether the plug is contaminated/
oxidized.
