Please read all instructions before operating your
new toaster. Please retain instruction manual for
later use.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Read all instructions thoroughly before use.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or
knobs.

To protect against electrical shock do not
immerse cord, plugs, or toaster in water or
other liquid during use or when cleaning.
-
Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
-
Children must be made aware of the
possible danger of electrical appliances if
used incorrectly.
-
Unplug from outlet when not in use and
before cleaning.
-
Do not operate any appliance with a
damaged cord or plug or after appliance
malfunctions, or if it has been damaged in
any manner. Return appliance to an
authorized service dealer for examination,
repair, or adjustment.

Do not use outdoors or in a bathroom.
-
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or
worktop or touch hot surface.
-
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or on a heated oven.
-
The unit must only be used for toasting slices
of bread or dried food. Never use as a grill
for cheese or meat.
-
A fire may occur if the toaster is touching
flammable material, including curtains,
draperies, walls, and the like, when in
operation.
-
Do not cover the toaster.
-
This appliance must not be left unattended
during use.

Never use the toaster without the crumb tray.
OPERATION
-
Before using for the first time, run for a few
minutes without bread. Some smoke may
appear at first which is normal.
-
The toaster has a timer which you turn
clockwise to turn on the toaster. Turn the
timer to the desired time (point marking on
the timer). The larger the points, the longer
the time is. The timer light will turn on,
indicating that the toaster is on.

The toaster turns off automatically when the
timer returns to 0. The timer light turns off.
USE
-
Connect the unit to an adequate socket.
-
Set the timer.
-
Position the slice of bread/toast on the
plated mesh and flip over by hand every now
and then.
-
Unplug the appliance after use.
-
Let the appliance cool off before storing.
DEFROST
This toaster is equipped with a defrosting button.
By using this button the toaster will use less
wattage and toast / defrost the bread more gently.
IMPORTANT POINTS
-
Remove all packaging from the bread before
placing on the mesh.
-
Do not toast bread with sugar or glaze, or
bread with stuffing.
-
You may never cover the whole mesh, you
may only cover 80% of the mesh with bread
when toasting.
